The Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA) team is hosting a live online Q&A on January 15^th at 8:30 AM PST designed to enable experienced IT Pros to ask technical questions about Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8. This exclusive session will feature two of Microsoft’s most popular personalities from "The Edge Show"—Senior Technical Evangelists, Joey Snow and Rick Claus—engaging in demos, dialog and debate shaped by you - a global audience of esteemed IT Pros.

The idea for this live Q&A pilot came about during the delivery of Microsoft learnings popular Jump Start series of live online training events.  We noticed some of the most valuable learning takes place in the chat-based Q&A going on behind-the-scenes. We saw key technologies that were confusing or poorly understood and recognized how beneficial audience-led discussion can be to the larger group for peer learning and exploration. As a result – this PILOT event of a live and interactive Q&A came about where we’ll focus exclusively on helping you better understand how valuable features interrelate to save you time and money.

A bit about who the facilitators will be:

		Joey Snow | Senior Technical Evangelist | @joeysnow  Joey focuses on the IT Professional audience for Windows client. Based in Redmond, WA, Joey works closely with relevant Microsoft Product Teams to evangelize new technology and products to the IT Pro community at large. He shares his knowledge and expertise online – via Channel 9 and is a frequent speaker at various Microsoft and industry-sponsored events. Joey has been with Microsoft for over 5 years having previously served over 12 years at a Fortune 500 company where he held a variety of IT roles ranging from IT architecture and management to helpdesk. Outside of work you can find Joey spending time with his wife and two children and actively feeding his sports and music addictions.
		Rick Claus | Senior Technical Evangelist |@RicksterCDN Rick engages the worldwide Technical Community on behalf of Microsoft.
